Steve Thacker became the senior vice president and co-founder of Next Generation Scaffold Services after climbing the ranks through the scaffold industry from his start as a union labor apprentice. With 19 years in the industry, Steve’s experience gained in the field, sales and management gives him broad vision when designing new products to improve safety and efficiency in the industry. He has been awarded numerous US/International patents with many new designs pending. Belief in continuous improvement has led Steve to work toward completing his Construction Management degree to further guide NextGen in leading the way in improvement within the scaffolding industry.

Chris has a bachelor’s in Regional Development from University of Arizona and began his career at Excel supervising the manufacture and testing of scaffold components, logistical coordination, as well as providing quotes and information to clients across the United States.

Chris has a bachelor’s in Regional Development from University of Arizona and began his career at Excel supervising the manufacture and testing of scaffold components, logistical coordination, as well as providing quotes and information to clients across the United States. As Excel’s footprint has expanded, he has gained experience in industrial operations activities from job set up to managing accounts for various refining and petrochemical clients. Chris has extensive experience in cost control, planning, critical path applications, field execution and site management. Through his attention to detail, willingness to take on new challenges, and ability to perform in all geographic regions, he has helped establish Excel Scaffold as a premier supplier in the specialty construction industry.

Johnny began his career at Deltak in 1991 while studying mechanical engineering at  Southeastern Louisiana University. He was part of the original team that designed and manufactured the Excel Modular Scaffold system.

Johnny began his career at Deltak in 1991 while studying mechanical engineering at  Southeastern Louisiana University. He was part of the original team that designed and manufactured the Excel Modular Scaffold system. Johnny currently spearheads all research and development of any new Excel components and manages the 80 employee, 20+ acre facility in Walker, Louisiana. He is also responsible for all non-scaffold fabrication, and laser cutting, as well as field and shop fabrication that Deltak provides to its many customers. Johnny has also been awarded 8 design patents.
