He has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies in industries such as nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, refining and wastewater.
His primary focus lies in the project controls and project management sectors, specifically in petrochemical, nuclear, and refining construction projects, encompassing both capital and maintenance areas.

Johnny Curtis embarked on his professional journey in 1991 at Deltak Manufacturing while pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at Southeastern Louisiana University. As a key member of the original team, he played a crucial role in the design and manufacture of the groundbreaking Excel Modular Scaffold system, which set new standards in the industry. Currently, Curtis oversees all aspects of the fabrication facilities located in Walker, New Iberia, and Edmonton, AB. His leadership extends beyond scaffold fabrication; he also manages non-scaffold fabrication activities and various field and shop fabrication services offered by Deltak to a diverse clientele. Curtis’ innovative spirit has earned him eight design patents, reflecting his commitment to advancing engineering solutions and enhancing product offerings. His dedication to excellence and continuous improvement has not only strengthened Deltak’s reputation but has also inspired his colleagues and peers in the manufacturing sector.
