Bruce Bartlett is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a B.A. in Mathematics, high honors in Accounting, Bentley College— Certified Public Accountant.

He also served in the United States Naval Reserves for six years.

• 2012 Bridgewater State University (Founded in 1840 by Horace Mann as the first permanent state college for the education of teachers) has named the College of Science and Mathematics, the Bartlett College of Science and Mathematics, after him and his wife. The college produces the highest number of hired science and math teachers in the state of Massachusetts.
• 2016 Recipient of Honorary Doctorate Degree from Bridgewater State University

• April 23, 2020, voted Honorary Trustee by the New England Historic Genealogical Society

Mark Sammis

After graduating from McNeese State University, Mark Sammis embarked on a career in the intersection of industrial safety and human resources. Throughout his professional journey, Sammis has consistently prioritized addressing the fundamental challenges that impact the scaffolding industry. His expertise lies in employee selection, retention, and on-site customer integration, which plays a pivotal role in setting our company apart from the competition. His extensive experience and proficiency in these areas give our organization a distinct edge, ensuring that we have the right team in place to meet our clients’ needs and seamlessly integrate with their operations.

Chris Fannin

President—GSCS

Chris Fannin brings a solid educational foundation to his role with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and an MBA from the University of Findlay. With decades of experience in the industry, he has become an invaluable asset to the company. Fannin’s expertise and leadership skills are particularly evident in his role leading our union group on large projects.

Drawing on his extensive industry knowledge, Fannin effectively navigates the complexities of managing large-scale projects. His ability to guide and coordinate the union group ensures smooth operations and successful project outcomes. His experience and understanding of the unique dynamics of the Northeast region further enhance his ability to deliver exceptional results.

Justin Papania

President—Excel Modular Scaffold & NextGen Scaffold

Starting his career in the industrial field as a scaffold builder while pursuing his college education, Justin Papania has quickly ascended through the ranks to assume a management role.

In his current capacity, Papania oversees the multi-crafts division for Bartlett Group. This entails coordinating complex projects, managing diverse teams, and ensuring seamless operations within high-pressure environments. His exceptional leadership skills and extensive industry knowledge enable him to successfully navigate the challenges inherent in large-scale industrial operations.

Papania consistently drives his teams to exceed expectations. His ability to communicate effectively, coordinate resources, and execute projects precisely has made him an invaluable asset in industrial construction.

Nathan Dagely

President—GMTS & Tech Services

Nathan Dagley, a Texas A&M University College of Engineering graduate, brings years of experience in the industrial heavy mechanical construction and turnaround industry. He recognizes the importance of effective communication and places it at the forefront of our business operations. Dagley firmly believes that good communication is a vital foundation for the safety, engineering, and operations groups to function harmoniously within their teams and in collaboration. By fostering an open and transparent communication culture, he ensures that our organization thrives, enabling seamless coordination and collaboration among various departments. Dagley’s emphasis on communication underscores his commitment to optimizing safety, enhancing engineering efficiency, and achieving operational excellence within our company.

Jason Munn

Co-President—Precision Refractory Services

Jason Munn holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration, both obtained from Louisiana State University.

Munn is a highly experienced construction professional with over many years of expertise in client management, strategic planning, resource allocation, financial management, project management, project controls, personnel management, production methods, and process analytics. He has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies in industries such as nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, refining and wastewater.

His primary focus lies in the project controls and project management sectors, specifically in petrochemical, nuclear, and refining construction projects, encompassing both capital and maintenance areas.

Johnny Curtis

Co-President—Deltak

Johnny Curtis embarked on his professional journey in 1991 at Deltak Manufacturing while pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at Southeastern Louisiana University. As a key member of the original team, he played a crucial role in the design and manufacture of the groundbreaking Excel Modular Scaffold system, which set new standards in the industry. Currently, Curtis oversees all aspects of the fabrication facilities located in Walker, New Iberia, and Edmonton, AB. His leadership extends beyond scaffold fabrication; he also manages non-scaffold fabrication activities and various field and shop fabrication services offered by Deltak to a diverse clientele. Curtis’ innovative spirit has earned him eight design patents, reflecting his commitment to advancing engineering solutions and enhancing product offerings. His dedication to excellence and continuous improvement has not only strengthened Deltak’s reputation but has also inspired his colleagues and peers in the manufacturing sector. Under his guidance, the company has embraced cutting-edge technologies and streamlined operations, ensuring that Deltak remains a leader in the field. Curtis continues to drive the vision of innovation and quality, making significant contributions to the industry and the communities served by Deltak.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Jonas Garig’s career began in industrial insulation. With a commitment to excellence, Garig quickly advanced to the role of Insulation Manager at one of the company’s largest worksites. He has further honed his skills in project management, budget control, and resource allocation. Garig’s expertise ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. Beyond his technical expertise, Jonas is also known for his exceptional interpersonal skills. His collaborative approach fosters a supportive work environment, making him a respected figure among colleagues and stakeholders.

Nick Crum

Vice President (West)—Excel Modular Scaffold & NextGen Scaffold

Nick Crum’s journey in the industry began with residential carpentry, where he honed his skills from the ground up at the age of 18. Throughout his career, he has acquired diverse skills in scaffold design, planning, management, leadership, root cause analysis, safety and process improvement.

Crum’s exceptional managerial capabilities, commitment to integrity, work ethic, safety culture, and pursuit of excellence have played a vital role in the success of major projects, turnarounds, and routine maintenance contracts within the United States.

His unwavering dedication to building a strong safety culture, promoting excellence, and upholding the highest standards of integrity has fostered the expansion and success of the organizations he has been a part of. Through his leadership, Crum has played a pivotal role in developing and executing major projects, turnarounds, and routine maintenance contracts, ensuring the delivery of outstanding results for clients.
